Milan remained one point above city rivals Inter after a 1-1 draw at the San Siro tonight.

Inter started the game well but Milan took the lead with Nocerino slipped a through-ball to El Shaarawy who side-footed it homke in the 21st minute.

Milan had several chances to add a second but Balotelli – playing his first game against his former club – missed two easy chances and Inter could cling to their hopes.

Inter started the second half on a better note and after Abbiati had palmed away a Palacio header, another header this time by substitute Schelotto ended in the net for a 1-1 score,
