Milan moved into third place on 48 points, one more than tonight’s rivals Lazio, after beating them 3-0 at the San Siro stadium.

The turning point came early, when Candreva tripped El Shaarawy at the edge of the box and was sent off after just 15 minutes.

The home side took command and after missing a couple of chances, Pazzini slotted home the first goal on 40 minutes and Boateng added a second just before the break.

The match seemed as good as over with Lazio unable to threaten Milan, who added a third on the hour when Pazzini shot home from outside the penalty area for a 3-0 final score.
