The Palace, Sliema will be collaborating for the second consecutive year with the Valletta Grand Prix Foundation for the forthcoming Mdina Grand Prix Classic Car Event 2013. 

Following last year’s success, The Palace was the first sponsor to confirm its presence in this year’s event and it will be again putting their state-of-art facilities ofthe hotel at the disposal of the Valletta Grand Prix Foundation. The Palace has received several glowing testimonials from drivers and foreign journalists who had come to Malta to cover last year’s event .

“The Palace was praised for the level of service offered through the organisation of several meetings and social events. We believe that through the sponsorship of events like the Mdina Grand Prix, we are helping Malta enhance its tourist product. The Hotel will be catering for  a VIP coming from Italy and a special guest from the UK,” Kevin Callus, Hotel Manager said.

This year’s event will see no less than 70 participants in the race which will take place around the Mdina bastions. Followng last year’s success of the Mdina Glass Concours d’Elegance last year, this glamorous event will once again to be held at the Cathedral Square in Mdina.

The Palace is planning a week of activities with various social events in the week of the Mdina Grand Prix.
