Over fifteen Swedish investors seeking to purchase property in Malta are expected to visit the island in the coming weeks for an intensive introduction tour of various properties in Malta and Gozo. The Swedish investors will be guests of Dhalia Real Estate following Dhalia Luxury Living’s recent participation in the Malmo and other property fairs in Sweden.

While in Malta, Dhalia Luxury Living will also be hosting a seminar for their Swedish guests to provide them with information about the local tax regime and the new regulations when purchasing property in Malta.

Dhalia Luxury Living manager, Michael Mifsud who attended the Malmo property fair said that “The visit by the Swedish investors is the result of Dhalia’s years of investment and participation in property fairs in various parts of Sweden. During these property expos, we have sought to sell Malta as an idyllic and lifestyle destination for individuals seeking to buy a holiday home or invest in property. “

The Malmo property fair was held between the 9th and 10th March at Malmo Mass Centre. The property fair was organized by Fairmedia International, Scandinavia's largest organizer of overseas property fairs. The fair was extremely successful and attracted thousands of visitors, making it a success both for the organizer but more importantly for the exhibitors. Prior to the fair the organizers also hosted an information seminar which was addressed by Dhalia’s business partner in Sweden, Inger Soderland. The seminar was extremely well attended by delegates ranging from, bankers, fund managers, tax consultants, lawyers and a number of high net worth clients representing large Scandinavian corporations.
