New opening hours at Business First are between 8am and 4pm during weekdays, with extended opening hours until 7pm on Wednesdays. These changes are being implemented in response to feedback received from clients over the past months.

Clients may also meet Business First’s representatives outside opening hours by appointment.

Additionally, the MEPA representative who is hosted on a weekly basis at Business First to assist clients with their queries in relation to the authority’s services will be available on Tuesdays instead of Fridays.

Business First’s services have been in high demand since it opened its doors, with almost 4,000 persons being assisted with an average of almost 1,000 queries per month.

Forming an integral part of Malta Enterprise at its head office in Pietà, Business First provides authoritative information and assistance on over 50 government services for businesses. Clients are assisted to apply for these services from one centralised location, where they are provided information on incentives and schemes offered by Malta Enterprise. This allows entrepreneurs to spend more time on running their business and is particularly beneficial for start-up entrepreneurs who often lack familiarity with the business environment.
