Kevin Muscat is the Maltese designer behind eponymous label Muscat London. This year he will be showcasing his collection at Malta Fashion Week between the 5th and 11th of May.

Kevin moved to the UK aged 19 to study dance and went on to work with some of Britain’s foremost companies. He performed with Matthew Bourne’s much acclaimed New Adventures, touring worldwide in his award winning productions of Swan Lake and The Car Man. Professional work also included Will Tuckett's Pinocchio and Wind in the Willows at the Royal Opera House; the English National Opera's Punch and Judy; Carmen and Iphigenie en Aulide at Glyndebourne Opera House, and Yippeeee with the Featherstonehaughs and the Cholmondeleys. Kevin also performed at the closing ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Following his successful dance career, Kevin turned his creativity to fashion. Having always been fascinated by clothes he refined his self-taught skills while working alongside designer Stevie Stewart, famous for the iconic 80s brand Bodymap. He assisted Stevie with costumes for Cheryl Cole, Kylie Minogue, Leona Lewis, Britney Spears, Girls Aloud and Westlife. Film credits include Flashbacks of a Fool and The Calling.

Muscat London was set up in 2012 and continues to develop its identity as a luxury brand with eco sustainability at its core. Muscat London uses a range of organic, eco sustainable and natural fabrics, sourced from ethical and reliable manufacturers. Each piece is hand made in England.

With influences from couture and tailoring, which Kevin studied at Central Saint Martins, the Muscat London Woman is busy and metropolitan with a refined, flexible wardrobe. Passionate about haute couture, but with an eye for practicality, Muscat London brings a touch of luxury to the everyday.

Muscat London will be showing as part of International Designers Evening on Friday 10th May and the prestigious Auberge de Castille. Tickets for the event are by invitation only and can be requested at [email protected]
