A place in the sun

Dhalia Real Estate Services recently participated in the 'A Place In The Sun Live' expo at the London Olympia. This  expo, attended by over 100 exhibitors, as well as the TV personalities that present the UK TV programme bearing the same name, helps visitors to choose an overseas destination to buy property in.

Dhalia Real Estate attended the event and promoted the unique Fort Chambray development in Gozo to  the expo visitors. Fort Chambray, built by the Knights of St John over 250 years ago as a fortification to help protect Gozo, has been restored and transformed into a luxury residential complex that offers property buyers something far from the norm.

Looking out over the south Comino channel the development offers stunning views, and the project has been completed with traditional building methods, as well as materials, to remain true to its historical roots.

'A Place In The Sun Live' was extremely well attended during all three days. During this event, Dhalia Real Estate had the opportunity to promote Malta, Gozo, and Fort Chambray to a large number of retirees, investors and those seeking to find a sunny corner of the world to live in.

In addition, they were also able to gain insight into what competing locations, such as Spain and Portugal, are able to offer to property buyers, as well as meet with a large number of property agents who work in a variety of international markets.

Speaking about Dhalia Real Estate’s participation in this event Company CEO, Chris Grech said that "Not only was 'A Place InThe Sun Live' a great opportunity to promote Malta and the Fort Chambray development but also provided us a chance  to reach a larger international client base.  The expo programme of events also included a number of seminars aimed at  giving UK residents tips on what to look out for when relocating  and investing in different countries. This  helped us to have a more in-depth understanding of the changing market trends and the needs of our customers".
