Outgoing Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes says he will not coach in the Bundesliga again, without specifying his future plans.

The 68-year-old Heynckes will be replaced by Pep Guardiola next month after leading Bayern to what could be a unique treble.

Bayern clinched the Bundesliga with a record six matches to spare and is in the finals of the Champions League and the German Cup.

Heynckes was not offered a contract extension by Bayern, which originally said the coach would be retiring. Heynckes later left his future open and has not ruled out taking over another club.

"There is no goal left for me in the Bundesliga," Heynckes said on Friday, a day before his final home match in Munich, against Augsburg. Bayern will also be presented with the championship plate.

His final Bundesliga match will be one week later at Borussia Moenchengladbach, where Heynckes began his career as a player and later as coach.

"The circle is closing," said Heynckes, who has appeared in 1,009 Bundesliga games as a player and coach.

After the final Bundesliga round, Bayern faces Borussia Dortmund in an all-German final of the Champions League at Wembley on May 25, and then travels to Berlin for the German Cup final against Stuttgart one week later.

Guardiola, the former Barcelona coach, takes over on June 26. Bayern ousted Barcelona 7-0 on aggregate in the Champions League semifinals.
