The Herba Group rebranded itself on Thursday, to become known as the TH Group and have a new logo, and announced a third business centre, now costing €14 million.
Economy Minister Chris Cardona described the company as a success story. It is involved in the construction business and was launched by Toni Spiteri and his wife Rita in 1992.
Their first large scale projects were the Hyperion Hotel and the Mgarr Hotel, among others, apart from a section of Busietta Gardens. Since then, Dr Cardona said, the company has never looked back. It employs 20 specialists, 30 professionals and 60 subcontractors.
Over the coming year the company will triple the number of its employees and double the number of its subcontractors.
Dr Cardona said the TH Group is involved in hotel building, residential and commercial construction, and the building of business centres. Others have included the APS Bank head office, the GS Superstores and the Daniel’s complex.
