Prisoners serving time at the Corradino Correctional Fcility have donated a tablet to Damien Ebejer, a boy who is fighting against cancer.

The tablet was bought with donations of not more than one euro each from 380 prisoners and prison officers. It was presented this morning during Mass at the prison chapel.

A donation of €2,000 was also donated to a NGO, called Rice, that will be launched shortly to help in the rehabilitation of prisoners.

Present for the activity was Home Affairs and Security Minister Manuel Mallia.
