Precision interviewing skills advanced full day programme

LEAD Training Services in collaboration with South Africa-based Omnicor will offer various training programmes in the coming weeks, the first of which is targeted at experienced HR recruiters.

Precision Selection Interview Skills is an advanced full-day programme with its foundation in best-practice psychological science, helping experienced job interviewers develop laser-sharp skills and effectiveness.

Omnicor was launched in 1998 to provide organisational development through customised, clever people-based solutions. Since then the company has been providing clients with value for money solutions that work. The company was founded in Johannesburg – gold rush city – and, like prospectors before them, they make it their business to find gold – human gold!

The Precision Selection Interview Skills programme is based on years of practical consulting work and recent science, and is delivered by James Ashton, MA (Org.Psych) and Cathy Farlam Ashton, M.Phil., BA Hons (Psychology), the founders of Omnicor. It offers interviewers insights and skills, helping them move their interviews from conversation to analytical process, matching a person’s talents and potential with the needs of the business.

Job applicants value winning the job after a tough interview process more than if they feel the process was not challenging.  The Precision Interview Skills programme looks at ways interviewers can use this fact to their advantage.

James Grech, Managing Director of LEAD Training Services, says: “We are pleased to work with Omnicor on this programme. I am convinced they bring great value to our training offering because of their background and their experience; while the exposure they gain through LEAD Training Services will enable them to bring this programme to the right people.”

Precision Selection Interview Skills is to be held on 14 June at the InterContinental Hotel, St Julian’s.
