NSTF began its involvement in science in 1984 by selecting students who excelled in science at post-secondary level to participate in the London International Youth Science Forum (LIYSF.

In 1994, NSTF established the Malta Student Science Forum (MSSF) and students who won this annual competition became the de facto participants of the LIYSF on behalf of NSTF-Malta.

2014 marks 30 years of NSTF participating in the LIYSF and 20 years since MSSF was established. In the light of these 2 anniversaries NSTF will be organising an alumni night and wishes to invite all former participants of MSSF and the LIYSF to contact us on [email protected].
