The Cannes Film Festival, also known as Festival de Cannes, runs from 15 May to 26 May. The Cannes Film Festival is an annual festival held at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France, that presents awards to film makers and actors in current films. The awards that are presented are Palme d'Or or Golden Palm, Grand Prix, Award for Best Director, Award for Best Screenplay, Award for Best Actress, Award for Best Actor, Prix du Jury or Jury Prize, and Palme d'Or or Best Short Film.
