Starting this week, Burger King guests in Malta can indulge in a deliciously refreshing experience: smoothies with Strawberry Banana and Tropical Mango flavour as well as Caramel Frappés and Chocolate Frappés. As of the 28th May, they are available in all restaurants across Malta, upgrading the Burger King menu with a new product line. The new refreshing product range will be put on offer successively in over 2,400 restaurants in the entire EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Asia) region. Country-specific and wide-spreading campaigns including ATL and BTL communications will promote the new product range.

“The launch of the smoothie and frappé range in the US in 2012 inspired us to develop similar products for the European market. Our product innovations team did an excellent job!” says Axel Schwan, Burger King Marketing Director EMEA. “With our new product line, we stay absolutely true to our claim ‘Taste is KING’: not only with products that taste incredibly refreshing, but are also freshly prepared in the restaurants for our guests.”

 

Smoothies, the fruity-refreshing indulgence

With their refreshingly fruity taste, the Strawberry Banana and Tropical Mango Smoothies will be the highlight of this summer. This is due to the fresh preparation in the BURGER KING® restaurants as well as the absence of artificial flavours or flavouring substances. In the restaurants, Burger King employees freshly prepare the smoothies in a special blender, adding only a fruit-mixture, yoghurt and ice. The smoothies are available in three sizes (small, medium and large) and are the perfect alternative to ice-cream and shakes.

 

Frappés, the special refreshment for caramel & chocolate lovers

If your taste buds crave for a very special sweet refreshing experience why not try the new Burger King Frappés? The Caramel Frappé and the Chocolate Frappé are the perfect pick-me-ups thanks to a mix of caramel or chocolate mixture with milk and ice cubes. The frappés are available in small, medium and large and are freshly prepared in the BURGER KING® restaurants.
