BOV Wealth Management Portfolio Managers have recently attended a two day training programme in London during which they had the opportunity to receive first hand information from the various fund managers that manage Valletta Fund Management’s (“VFM”) investment solutions.

Portfolio Managers within the Advisory Unit met various sub-investment managers from Insight Investment (Global) Limited, JO Hambro Investment Management Limited and Bank of New York Mellon Corporation and discussed the investment philosophy and investment models and processes used within the management of the portfolio amongst others. Furthermore, they also attended a session with market specialists and discussed the current economic scenario and market volatility as well as the importance of diversification in an investment portfolio in the current market conditions.

Mark Agius, Head – Valletta Fund Management highlighted VFM’s commitment to provide such training opportunities to its intermediaries and to keep them abreast of market developments and the performance of VFM’s investment solutions.

This training programme was made possible thanks to Insight Investment Management (Global) Limited which is a subsidiary of Bank of New York Mellon, and JO Hambro Investment Management Limited.
