The first competition for the best ‘sandwich fillers’ was launched last Monday, 3rd June and will close on 14th June. Participation is easy. All one has to do is, like Golden Harvest’s Facebook page, register and upload a photo of the sandwich together with the method and ingredients used. Other competitions to be launched in the coming months including, appetizer, starter, main course and desserts recipes.

Speaking about the launch of the competitions, Golden Harvest, CEO, Mark Aquilina said that “the launch of these competitions form part of our commitment to engage our consumers and invite them to share their creativity with others. Their recipes will then be used to publish a one of a kind Maltese cookery book, which I am sure will be an instant hit with local consumers. The launch of the recipes competition and cookery book also coincides with the 50th anniversary of the French sliced loaf, for which we wanted to create this special event for the benefit of our customers and the local community.”
