The Union Haddiema Maghqudin claimed victory after the government had withdrawn a number of transfers that had been given at St Vincent de Paul residential home for the elderly.
It said that in discussions it held with the Social Solidarity Ministry, it convinced the government that the transfers that had been given did not make sense.
In its own statement, the ministry said that it listened to the points made by the union and by reversing its decision, it showed that it was implementing its declaration that it is a government that listens.
