German Ambassador Dr Hubert Ziegler recently welcomed the six Maltese nationals who successfully applied for a DAAD-scholarship for 2013.   Dr Ziegler congratulated them on their achievement and wished them all the best for their upcoming stay in Germany.

The six Maltese receiving DAAD scholarships are: Shana Caruana, Leanne Cucciardi, Sylvana Dalli, Alexandra Grech, Michelle Vella Gobey, Jonathan Cauchi.

Through the DAAD scholarship program funded by the German government, more and more Maltese have been given the opportunity to further their studies in Germany and to improve on their German language skills in recent years.

In 2013 six Maltese nationals received the DAAD scholarship while in 2012 four Maltese nationals were awarded the scholarship.
