Verdala Palace provided the perfect backdrop for the breathtaking fashion show by Pippa Toledo last Friday.

Ms Toledo unveiled her latest collection of handbags and fabulous jewellery, as well as a clothing collection on the massive catwalk set up in front of the palace. Over 40 complete outfits were showcased in a spectacle of colour, rich fabrics and bold statement pieces; signature Ms Toledo design elements.

Each and every piece of clothing, jewellery and accessories are individually crafted to Ms Toledo’s specifications and hand-finished by Ms Toledo herself. Using only the finest materials, every piece in Ms Toledo’s collection is a one-off individual piece. A 100 per cent made in Malta item, something Ms Toledo is truly proud of.

The fund-raising event, in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund, was held under the patronage of the President of Malta. About 300 guests attended the show and the reception held in the palace gardens.

A number of contributors come together to support the event and thanks go to Island Caterers, Attard & Co which kindly provided all the wine for the reception; JUGS Malta helped with the professional set up; Gauda provided the shoes and Beauty Culture Group all the make-up used; Shasha; Prive Hairdressing; IRIS Photographers; Supernova and Models.com.mt; Powerhouse and photographer Kurt Paris.
