Allow me to refer to an article appearing in another section of the local press titled Labourites see red over post for Bondi by journalists Juan Ameen and Ivan Camilleri The Times, Monday 17 June.
Wherein it was stated that Prime Minister Joseph Muscat chose national television presenter Lou Bondi to sit in an 11 member committee responsible for preparing national anniversary celebrations.
Even though, arguably, the person occupying the post of Malta’s Prime Minister can nominate whoever he deems most suitable for any such posts, still, after years of attacking the Malta Labour Party’s policies, one might have thought that Lou Bondi was ethically bound to refuse any such offer.
