Simon Busuttil seems to be interested only looking for and finding the proverbial pin in the PL’s haystack ! He gives the impression that he has found such a pin in the story he has been repeating for quite some time, namely, that a PL  candidate had promised a family or families of prisoners, that if elected the new PL government would grant an amnesty. Simon has not yet brought any proof or mentioned any names.

First. What’s wrong if a candidate had assured such a family that he/she would do his/her utmost to convince the cabinet to grant an amnesty, once the PN had given a number of amnesties ?

Second. If what Simon has alleged is true, than both the candidate as well as the PL government have honoured that promise . So very different to all the promises made by GonziPN which were forgotten once GonziPn had won the election !
