Arsenal's Swiss defender Johan Djourou is joining Hamburg on a season-long loan, with the Bundesliga side also obtaining an option to buy the 26-year-old, the BBC reports.
Hamburg's director of sport Oliver Kreuzer tells Hamburg’s Morgenpost: "I am sure it will happen."
Djourou, 26, impressed earlier this year during a six-month loan spell at Hanover 96, making 14 Bundesliga appearances.

Birmingham City midfielder Jonathan Spector has agreed a new two-year contract at St Andrew's, the BBC reports.
The 27-year-old has made 76 appearances for the Blues since joining from West Ham on a free transfer in 2011.
USA international Spector, who can also play in defence, becomes the Blues' final senior out-of-contract player to have agreed new terms at the club.
