Supported by HSBC, the Royal Malta Golf Club played host to 170 golfers from more than 20 countries around the world, including New Zealand, Australia, South Africa and India.
The prestigious HSBC 125th Anniversary Cup was won by the Royal Wellington Golf Club. A close second was the RMGC, represented by David Debono, Felicity Dix, JJ Micallef and Laine Tutane.
“This competition was a great success both in terms of the quality of golf on show as well as the truly international turnout of golfers participating from all over the world. In this way, it has been a fitting celebration of the RMGC’s 125 years’ legacy while also aptly reflecting the international connectivity that HSBC brings,” said HSBC Malta CEO Mark Watkinson, during the presentation ceremony and which was held at the Royal Malta Golf club.
Club Captain David Debono thanked HSBC for their invaluable support in making this event the big success that it turned out to be.
