Jose Mourinho wants to bring rising Portuguese star Bruma to Chelsea with him next season, Metro reports.
The Special One has been monitoring the progress of his countryman for several months and had recommended the Sporting Lisbon teenager to former club Real Madrid before his departure from the Bernabeu.
The forward, who can play all across the front line, has been in fantastic form for Portugal at the Under-20 World Cup in Turkey, scoring five goals in his first three matches.
His undoubted potential has seen Bruma earn the rather predictable label of the ‘new Cristiano Ronaldo’.
Clearly the 18-year-old still has a long, long way to go to emulate the achievements of the Real Madrid superstar, but Mourinho has seen enough quality in the youngster to convince him he would be an excellent addition for the Blues’ future.
