Manchester United target Kevin Strootman has committed himself to spending another season at PSV Eindhoven, according to the Dutch club's technical manager, TalkSport reports.
New United boss David Moyes officially started work at Old Trafford yesterday and he has been tipped to make the Netherlands international one of his first signings at the club.
The Premier League champions need strengthening in the middle of the park and Strootman, 23, is considered one of the finest young midfielders in Europe.
But Moyes could be forced to seek alternatives as Marcel Brands, the PSV technical manager, is adamant his star man will remain at the club this summer.
He told De Telegraaf: "[Kevin] Strootman we do not want to lose. He also knows himself that he will play at PSV for another season."
