On Saturday 6 July I needed to use Arriva to go to the MFCC Ta‘ Qali for the Malta International Trade Fairs. I called customer care and from St Paul’s Bay all they could offer me was to take a 41 or 42 to Birkirkara and then take a 106 in Naxxar Road which only runs every hour on the hour, so if you miss it you have to wait one hour for the next one. How convenient to go to Ta‘ Qali.

I was at the Bus Stop Mary in Triq Mosta St Paul’s Bay at 6.45pm and there was a bus due at 7.04pm which till 7.15pm did not turn up so I called customer care for an update and was told it should arrive at 7.24pm. By 8pm neither the 41 or 42 bus arrived so I had only one option and that was to abort my trip.

Had I taken the trip when the bus arrived it would have meant that I arrive at Ta’ Qali approximately 10pm and therefore I preferred to go home and relax watching TV and listen to some music.

Thank you once again for an inefficient bus service.
