A wine tasting event was hosted by The Wine Boutique Franks, at TemptAsian in The Palace, Sliema. The evening consisted of an exotic culinary night of wine pairing that included wines produced by Huia from Marlborough, New Zealand.
The wines were accompanied by a selection of mouth-watering dishes, prepared for the occasion by The Palace’s executive chef Joseph Xuereb and his team. Sauvignon Blanc was served with sushi, Chardonnay was accompanied by seamed salmon sashimi and grilled prawns , Pinot Gris was served with Peking duck.
A glass of Pinot Noir was paired with the Teppanyaki mixed barbecue. To conclude the evening Gewürztraminer was served with an apple and cinnamon dessert, a perfect combination to end a pleasant evening.
