Sunderland has signed Italy midfielder Emanuele Giaccherini from Juventus for four years.
The 28-year-old Giaccherini has agreed to a deal with the Premier League club after winning back-to-back Serie A titles with Juventus.
Financial details of the move were not disclosed.
Giaccherini has played 14 times for Italy, including at last month's Confederations Cup in Brazil.
