Sunderland and Aston Villa are trailing Serbian midfielder Zdravko Kuzmanovic, The Mirror reports.

The 26-year-old has been told he will be sold this summer by Inter Milan and the Italians will study offers this week.

Scouts working on behalf of Paolo Di Canio and Paul Lambert have been checking on the player, but so too have counterparts from Malaga and Stuttgart.

Kuzmanovic, who has a £3.5million release clause, wants more playing time than he is getting at the San Siro.
