Bank of Valletta has once again signed up as one of the main supporters of STRADA, the festival that celebrates Valletta, wine, music and art. It all takes place along Strait Street, from one end to the other.
This year’s edition of the festival will take place between the 26th and the 28th July. Strada Stretta will come to life again, full of light, music, art and food. The atmosphere created will be unique, evocative of yesteryear, and literally a feast of culture and history, true testimony of the rich heritage of our capital city.
Joyce Tabone, Manager Media and Community Relations at Bank of Valletta met up with Kris Fenech Soler, one of the organisers of the Strada Festival.
“Bank of Valletta has supported every edition of Strada, which is now in its seventh edition. The Bank always seeks to contribute actively towards the promotion of local arts and culture. This event manages to blend all this beautifully” said Ms Tabone. “We are delighted to once again participate in this festival that proposes a combination of different forms of art in an enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere”.
The Programme:
StradaStretta will get a face-lift with paintings and photographs hung on its walls, re-enactors taking people back to older times, Fjakkoli, special lighting and a selection of some of the best local produce and talent.
