Cesc Fabregas’ agent has moved to reassure Barcelona the midfielder won’t be quitting the Catalan club for Manchester United this summer, Metro reports.
Speculation has been intensifying in recent days over a prospective deal which would see the Spaniard return to the Premier League to join David Moyes’ side, who have made no secret over their desire to sign former Arsenal man Fabregas.
But according to Spanish station Catalunya Radio, Fabregas’ agent Darren Dein – son of former Arsenal vice-chairman David – has assured Barcelona directors his client has no desire to depart the Nou Camp for United.
The 26-year-old returned to training today following an extended holiday, due to his participation in the Confederations Cup and told fans on Twitter of his excitement to be linking up with Tata Martino’s men again.
