Two young men today were charged with attacking public officers during the course of their duties in St George’s Street, St Julian’s. The incident took place at 3am this morning.
Liam Mallia, 18, and Darren Agius, 22, both of Marsascala, were also accused of casing slight injuries to two police constables and of breaching public peace. They were also charged with not obeying legitimate orders and of hindering the work of the officers.
Both pleaded not guilty but were remanded in custody.
