In its 6pm news bulletin on Saturday, 17 August, PBS completely ignored the press conference that had been given by Nationalist MP Jason Azzopardi.

The news had been online on various portals long before 6pm, and PBS therefore had the time to report what Dr Azzopardi had said.

The item was top of the news in the 8pm bulletin, by which time the government had replied to Dr Azzopardi.

My gut feeling is that PBS did not want to report Dr Azzopardi’s press conference before the government issued a reply.
