DJ duo Tenishia, who have risen to international fame, making it into the Top 100 DJs list of the world’s best DJs, might be known for their outstanding progressive and trance music, but they are also brilliant chill-out and lounge music producers.

Joven Grech and Cyprian Cassar have once again shown their other side, with a lush chilled-out new album called Frozen Roads 2.

The first Frozen Roads album was quite a success, making it to the no. 1 position in the Beatport chill out charts for several weeks and also seeing one of its tracks nominated for an IDMA Award in Miami.

The new album has been released via iTunes and Beatport and gives Tenishia's original music a relaxed and down-tempo feel. The album features thirteen tracks, all in the chill-out genre. Most of the tracks were originally created for their previous dance album Memory of a Dream but have now been converted into moody, relaxed tunes with added guitar and piano sounds.

Frozen Roads 2 also includes the unplugged version of the track Point of No Return, which Tenishia performed at the Joseph Calleja Concert and also featured on Xarabank.  Created with piano and a few strings, Point of No Return instantly caught the ear of Joseph Calleja, who will be working with Tenishia to release the track with his vocals in the coming months.

At the moment Tenishia are also taking part in this year’s DJ Mag Top 100 poll once again, after ranking in the 50th position last year – out of an estimated 35, 000 DJs from all over the world. They had jumped up 41 spots from the previous year.
