A specialised course, being organised by LEAD Training Services starting in November, Award in Advanced Tax and VAT Matters, is eligible for a 100 per cent refund under the TSSA Grant scheme. Applications for refunds under this scheme close on 27 September.

Participants in this course, who are limited to no more than 25, will obtain a fully-fledged CPD Award Qualification (MQF Level 6), accredited by the National Commission for Further and Higher Education.

There are four modules in the course with a total of 40 hours of lectures spread over seven months. Matthew Zampa will deliver the first module on VAT in the Financial Services Sector; he will be joined by James Bonavia for the second module, Advanced VAT Matters; Louise Micallef will deliver the third module, Tax Incentives and Grants; and Craig Schembri will deliver the fourth module, Advanced Taxation Matters.
