Around 50 staff members and partners at audit firm RSM Malta joined their peers around the world to mark RSM World Day, held globally on September 12th for the second consecutive year.
Themed ‘Connected for Success’, the aim of this celebration was to bring together the various RSM offices around the globe and to raise the brand profile globally through several activities organised by the different RSM firms worldwide.
To mark RSM World Day, RSM Malta dedicated around 400 man hours of voluntary work in aid of Dar tal-Providenza in Siggiewi. Through this corporate social event, the RSM Malta team assisted the Home in painting of doors, whitewashing, gardening, cleaning, folding and insertion of mail.
“The RSM brand values are based on connections - personal connections with clients, with our colleagues, and with our local community. On the occasion of RSM World Day, we ensured that these connections benefit a noble cause in Malta, and we are delighted that the brand we represent brought about joy and happiness to the residents of Dar tal-Providenza” said Deo Scerri, Managing Partner at RSM Malta.
Jean Stephens, CEO of RSM International comments: “The variety and scale of events and activities that took place last year was remarkable. I know how close our network is as I have worked with these firms for many years. But I was astounded at the levels of passion and enthusiasm shown on the day, the sheer variety of events and activities, and the wonderful show of different cultures and traditions – all in the name of RSM”.
RSM firms in more than 70 countries held events on Thursday 12th September to mark the RSM World Day, ranging from traditional Indonesian games, sports days, champagne receptions and staff outings to the Pyramids and the Great Wall of China, to quizzes, yoga sessions, blood donations and conservation projects.
