In September, a group of University of Malta undergraduate students of engineering and M.Sc. in Integrated Product Development participated in an industrial study tour in Germany. The group was led by Dr Ing. Philip Farrugia and Dr Arif Rochman.

Students had the opportunity to visit the manufacturing line of the BMW 3 series model in Munich and the manufacturing of NH90 and Tiger helicopters and Airbus door panels at Eurocopter in Donauwörth.

The students also visited the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart and the Deutches Museum, the world's largest museum of science and technology.
