FIAT is Official Sponsor of the EXPO MILANO 2015

Last week’s qualifying match between Italia and Bulgaria in Palermo was an opportunity to unveil the official logo that supports FIAT’s partnership with the EXPO MILANO 2015.

The new logo will in fact be featured on all the vehicles that Fiat-Chrysler will provide during the EXPO MILANO 2015 for internal use and commuting within the Expo areas such as the use as courtesy cars for the guest delegations that will be travelling to Milan from all over the world. The first model that will be utilized in this respect will be the 500L which will be running on methane and diesel. More new models are expected to be launched in the run up to the Expo.

FIAT’s support to the EXPO MILANO 2015 does not only involve a direct cash investment of over €7 million but also another €2.3 million investment in communications across all of Fiat Group Automobiles’ channels. Fiat Group will be utilizing Milan and the EXPO as an ideal location for a number of events to launch FIAT’s new models.

Fiat Industrial, through its new brand New Holland Agriculture which operates within the industrial machinery sector, will be participating with a 1,600 sq m pavilion which will be built according to the latest eco-friendly architectural standards and energy saving techniques. In line with the main theme of this EXPO “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life” and in line with its strategy to be a Clean Energy Leader, New Holland Agriculture will present visitors an agricultural company that offers sustainability for today and for the future.

Fiat Industrial’s partnership with the EXPO will possibly include a collaboration with brand Iveco, which has already supplied two vehicles for the recent “Ready to Cloud” event hosted during EXPOVISIONS, a project organized by Expo 2015 and Telecom Italia in Milan during the recent Design Week.

“This football match in Palermo was an ideal opportunity to show Fiat Group’s commitment both towards the EXPO MILANO 2015 and the national football team, due strong and prominent realities which represent a big part of our country,” said a spokesperson from Fiat. “The Fiat Group is a prominent player in the economy and has been accompanying Italy’s social, industrial and cultural evolution, whilst bringing new technological excellence to the world in the Made in Italy style.”

Up till 2014, Fiat can confirm that it will be the Top Sponsor of the Italian national football team and will be accompanying the azzurri for their 2014 World Cup in Brazil, a very important market for the Fiat Group.
