I am writing in the name of Bisazza Street residents and shop owners since we have been complaining to the local council on bins with open doors for over two months.
There are some six bins with broken locks and consequently, their contents are permanently on display in the pedestrianised street. During the night and on windy days, the bin doors are constantly slamming. As a result, they are of great inconvenience to residents, shop owners and shoppers and dangerous to children. For this reason, they have also been reported to the police who said the local council is responsible for them. Yet, the local council has not addressed the situation.
Reports have also been filed on water gushing into the street from private property.
This is a situation in which those responsible are failing to rectify and authorities should step in and take action against those responsible.
