Firetech Ltd. leading Specialists in Fire, Safety, and Security have recently marked their latest brand evolution with a Team Building Seminar for their staff titled, ‘ Firetech, The Way Forward with YOU!’.
Held at Mount St Joseph, Targa Gap the Seminar focussed on how the Brand has developed from being just a name, to a reflection of the highest standards of Service Delivery in the key focus areas of the Company.
‘A brand is not merely a logo’, explained CEO Simon J Camilleri, ‘a brand is alive; constantly adapting and evolving – just like a Company needs to be in today’s fast moving business environment. We want our staff to understand that they are part of what makes our Brand and that without them there would be no Brand. For this reason we decided to present our 2014 Brand Evolution at a team building seminar for all.’
The day kicked off with a presentation on Team building by well-known Management Specialist Paul Vincenti, who gave an excellent motivational talk on why Teams consistently out-perform individual efforts in many areas.
This was followed by a presentation, prepared by Emma Diacono Ltd, introducing the new Brand Elements and a discussion on how the elements would be used to enhance the company’s reputation in each of its focus areas, Fire, Safety, Security and Parking Management.
The presentations were a prelude for a Fun Team Building exercise based on the Company’s core area of expertise, Fire & Safety, and each Team went through a series of exercises aimed at encouraging Teamwork and at the same time improving their proficiency and awareness of Fire & Safety procedures.
The half day seminar ended on a relaxed note with the participants being hosted to lunch at the venue’s restaurant.
‘All in all it was a very positive day for all the Firetech staff,’ said Reno Zammit, Group Financial Controller, ‘as management we were impressed at the positive feedback we received with regards to the brand evolution and we look forward to reaping the benefits in the form of improved communication, enhanced customer service levels and above all, the continued development of our valuable Human Resource Element.’
