US equity performances at close appeared uneventful with much of the corporate data being reported by and large failing to overwhelm investors. A contraction below the 50 mark for HSBC/Markit Chinese January Manufacturing PMI dragged on Asian equities’ performance this morning, with much of the major Asian indices manifesting negative performances.
