The Middlesea Insurance Social and Events Committee recently presented a donation to the St Theresa Children’s home in Zurrieq. The money was collected during a number of social events and dress down days organised throughout the year.

The St Theresa Children’s Home provides a domestic environment to a number of children who come from a difficult social background.

“Supporting such initiatives forms part of Middlesea Insurance’s Corporate Social Responsibility Policy. The nuns at the Zurrieqhome do a fantastic job with these children, who alreadyhave had to endure a number of hardships in their life, providing them with a stable place to call home.  We are very proud to support their work and we hope that our small contribution will assist them in continuing to improve the quality of life of these children,” said Stef Deguara, President of the Middlesea Social and Events Committee.

Sr Carolina Cassar expressed thanks for Middlesea’s support. “Financial support is extremely important to help us continue or mission. We promise to keep you in our prayers,” she stated.
