Since its establishment two years ago The Ladybird Foundation has been very successful in making wishes come true for terminally, critically or seriously ill children based on the island. It has funded this work through major fund-raising events that it has organised, and through generous donations and support given by entities such as Mediterranean Bank.

Last year, and for the second consecutive year, the bank launched a special Christmas campaign which culminated in the substantial donation of €5000 to The Ladybird Foundation. Following a highly eventful year last year, The Ladybird Foundation is this year focusing on extending its support network and using the funds collected to reach out to even more children.

Thanks to the overwhelmingly response from the Maltese people and to generous donations like this most recent one from Mediterranean Bank, the Foundation will be able to continue putting smiles on the faces of children who could really do with one.
