Reference is made to the article entitled ‘Entertainment: The awful state of Radio in Malta’ published on this newspaper on 6 February, 2014.

PBS categorically disagrees with the generic sweeping statements contained in above mentioned article. Through its role as Malta’s public broadcaster, PBS provides varied programme schedules that include programme content that would otherwise not be aired elsewhere due to its commercial non-viability.
