The management and staff at the Grand Hotel Excelsior are extremely honoured to have had the opportunity to host the President of the Hellenic Republic, His Excellency Karolos Papoulias, during his two day visit to Malta. He was accompanied by the Maritime Affairs Minister MilitadisVarvitsiotis and Deputy Foreign Minister KyriakosGerontopoulos. This visit coincided with the fifth Greek Presidency of the European Union.
