Dhalia reports excellent response from Gothenburg property fair

A group of Swedish investors seeking to purchase property in Malta are expected to visit the island in the first half of the year for an intensive tour of various properties in Malta and Gozo. The Swedish investors will be guests of Dhalia Real Estate following the company’s participation in the Moving Home property fair held in Gothenburg, Sweden on the 22nd and 23rd February. In Gothenburg,Dhalia Real Estate was represented by the St Julians’ office manager, Michael Mifsud.  

While in Malta, Dhalia’s St Julians office will also be hosting a seminar for their Swedish guests to provide them with information about the Gobal Residency Scheme, the local tax regime and the new regulations when purchasing property in Malta.

Dhalia Real Estate’s Chief Executive Officer, Chris Grech explained that “the visit by the Swedish investors is the result of Dhalia’s years of investment and participation in property fairs in various parts of Sweden. During these property expos, we have sought to sell Malta as an idyllic and lifestyle destination for individuals seeking to buy a holiday home as well as an excellent location for property investment. “

The property fair in Gothenburgwas organized by Fairmedia International, Scandinavia's largest organizer of overseas property fairs. The fair was extremely successful and attracted tens of thousands of visitors, making it a success both for the organizer but more importantly for the exhibitors. Prior to the fair, the organizers also hosted an information seminar which was addressed by Dhalia’s business partner in Sweden, IngerSoderland. The seminarwas extremely well attended by delegates ranging from, bankers, fund managers, tax consultants, lawyers and a number of high network clients.
