The Grassy Hopper, a young local start-up company has launched its Valletta outlet.  Their mobile kiosk in Ta'xbiex has become popular with people working in the area, serving up freshly made soups, salads, wraps and veggie burgers.

Seeing the demand for healthy meals in the workplace, The Grassy Hopper decided to expand their service to Valletta.  They bring a fun and light feel to choosing to eat healthily, from fresh wheatgrass shots to their hugely popular vegetarian burgers.

The difference with The Grassy Hopper is not just in the quality and substance of their food, but in the general values and ethics they are choosing to uphold.

They regularly donate their leftovers to the YMCA's homeless shelter, helping to support community meals for 30 people.

They are also pioneering the introduction of compostable take-away packaging, with their use of packaging made from sustainably sourced corn starch which becomes soil in 9-12 weeks.

If you want to eat healthier, but find it too much hassle, visit The Grassy Hopper and see if eating healthily is a lot more easy, fun and tasty then you thought.
