Last week Air Baltic launched its schedule for weekly flights from Riga starting as from 6 April, during a presentation given in collaboration with FATTA – the Federated Association of Travel & Tourism Agents and Westin Dragonara Resort.

Air Baltic was founded in 1995 and since then it has become one of Europe’s fastest-growing airlines.

Its flights to Malta began last year. This year it has added flights to Aberdeen, Gothenburg, Bucharest,Varna, Burgan, and Palma de Mallorca.

Air Baltic will initially have one flight on a Sunday between 6 April and 3 June, leaving  Malta at 12.40pm, and will add another flight on Tuesdays as from 3 June until 19 October.  After the presentation, the agents could savour some light traditional Latvian finger food, dips and sweets which Ms Sovane brought over from Riga for this occasion.

Air Baltic prides itself with its on-board service which also includes a choice of three course meals at very competitive fares and its modern fleet of aircraft and high safety standards.
