British TV presenter Peaches Geldof, the second daughter of musician Bob Geldof and Paula Yates, has died in her home in the village of Wrotham at the age of 25.
Kent Police called at her home in following a report of concern for the welfare of a woman. Ms Geldof was later pronounced dead by the South East Coast Ambulance Services. In a statement, the police force said that her death was being treated as “unexplained and sudden.”
Ms Geldof’s media career had started at the age of 14, when she began writing a column for the UK edition of Elle Girl magazine. She has also worked as a model and in TV, writing and presenting a number of programmes.
She leaves her husband, musician Thomas Cohen, her two sons, who will turn 1 and 2 later this month, her father, two sisters and her younger half-sister. Her mother had died of a drug overdose in 2000.
