A taste of immortality

Many have dreamt of immortality, but can it be achieved?

If you have a clone of yourself and then pass on your memory to him/her, virtual immortality would have been achieved. Besides continuing to live your normal life, you start living in your clone.

Let’s talk a little about misleading memories. Untrue memories can be implanted in children and we have cases of children falsely accusing a parent of child abuse.

Now what’s stopping us, instead of implanting incorrect memories we implant our own memories onto our clones and thus achieve immortality?

We have seen scientists implanting fake memories in mice. Surely our own memories could be implanted in our clones.

Some may object to this memory transfer.

Maybe part time memory transfer could be achieved to satisfy these individuals. By part time memory transfer I mean that the clone could choose to activate his/her parent’s memory at will.

We are certainly very near to achieving immortality.
